A few years back the
cogmaps project looked pretty hot. I venture to say that there has been very little traction.
Since inception, cogmaps marketed itself as a org chart wiki. Users come in and update the org chart of their company (or one they know) driven by an interest to share updated information about themselves (e.g make themselves visible), or collaborate in the purest wiki sense.\
After a few years there are very few charts that I feel can be used for sourcing / talent mapping / strategic recruitment. I am not sure if there is a product problem or a marketing problem. I am inclined to choose the former. What say you?
