Share 'pro bono'

I wanted to know if you had ever filled a role pro-bono. what prompted you to work on an assignment: - being identified with a cause/charity/organisation? - the expectation of non-monetary benefits? e.g. being associated to a reputable brand? - the expectation that there would be fees for other assignments down the track?
